EmPower My Fitness has been bringing fitness and fun to the local community since 2011. We offer a variety of group fitness classes and personalised 1:2:1 training to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
Join us for group Pilates classes at Cheswick Green Village Hall and Wythall Village Hall, or enjoy 1:2:1 Personal Training, Reformer Pilates, and small group sessions at our private home gym studio in Wythall.
We also provide 1:2:1 personal training and small group sessions in the comfort of your own home, gym, or garden so you can enjoy a tailored fitness experience wherever you are.
In addition to our regular exercise classes, we offer community fundraisers, outdoor activities, and fitness sessions for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, and Beavers working towards their fitness badges.

A personal message from Emma Brown, Owner and Instructor at Empower My Fitness
“I have over 29 years of experience teaching in the fitness industry. I offer a wide range of group fitness classes, including aerobics, step, boxercise, aqua, Legs Bums and Tums, Pilates, and Zumba. My teaching experience spans top fitness clubs such as Virgin Active, David Lloyd, The Village Gym, Fitness First, and various Birmingham City Council Leisure Centres.
In addition, I specialise in Golf-Specific Pilates and teach at renowned golf clubs across the Midlands, including Drayton Park, Fulford Heath, Robin Hood, Moseley, and Maxstoke.
As a certified Personal Trainer, I offer guidance on weight management, illness rehabilitation, injury recovery, and event-specific training such as the London Marathon, Velo bike ride, and Wolf Run. I’ve also competed at the national level in the UKDFBA (Body Fitness Athlete) competitions.
I hold a Personal Trainer qualification and an Exercise to Music certificate, along with an extensive portfolio of specialist certifications. I’m passionate about teaching, coaching, and helping both adults and children achieve their health and fitness goals.
On a personal note, after having my second daughter in February 2011, I struggled to lose the extra stone I gained during pregnancy. That’s when I discovered Zumba Fitness. With just two classes per week, I quickly shed the weight, and by adding a third class per week, I actually had to eat more to maintain my weight! This transformation, along with a clean diet, helped me achieve a fitter, more toned, and healthier body than I had before pregnancy. Inspired by my own success, I decided to help others achieve their fitness goals and founded my own fitness business in 2011 – and I’ve never looked back!
Exercise, fitness, healthy eating, and living a pain-free life are my true passions. I would love to share my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm with you to help you achieve your personal health and fitness goals.”
