EMPOWERMYFITNESS (EMF) (formerly DANCE FITNESS SOLIHULL (DFS) has been providing group fitness exercise classes and 1-2-1 Personal Training into the local community since 2011.

We offer daytime and evening Pilates & Golf Pilates group exercise classes from our Cheswick Green modern fitness facility, together with 1-2-1 and small group Personal Training. Other areas include; Earlswood, Shirley, Dickins Heath, Studley, Hollywood and Portway.

1-2 -1 and small group Personal Training is also available in the comfort of your own home/gym or garden.

All of these exercise classes are available as part of a weekly, regular exercise class at Cheswick Green, Community Fund Raiser or outdoor activity, for Brownie, Guides, Rainbows and Beavers fitness badge, Kids birthday party……the list is endless, exercise is so versatile and fun!

”I have been teaching in the Fitness Industry for over 25 years. I have taught group fitness including aerobics, step, boxercise, aqua, LBT, Pilates and Zumba at Virgin Active, David Lloyd, The Village gym, Fitness First and at various Birmingham City Council Leisure centres.

I also teach Golf Specific Pilates classes at a number of Midlands Golf clubs inc. Drayton Park, Fulford Heath, Robin Hood, Moseley and Maxstoke.

I’m a Personal Trainer and can offer help and advise on weight management, illness rehabilition training, injury rehabilitation, event specific training eg. London Marathon, Velo bike ride, Wolf Run. I have also competed nationally in the UKDFBA (Body Fitness athlete).

I hold an Exercise to Music certificate and Personal Trainer qualification, together with an extensive portfolio of additional specialist training certificates. I love teaching, guiding and coaching adults and children to achieve their health and fitness goals. It really is my passion in life.

‘On more of a personal note, when I had my second daughter in Feb 2011 , I could not shift that extra stone of baby weight I had put on during pregnancy. Then I discovered Zumba Fitness. 2 classes per week saw my weight drop off to my pre-baby weight, then 3 classes per week…..I had to start eating extra to keep my weight on….’yeh right’ I hear you say….but its true!!

Together with a ‘clean’ diet, it helped me achieve an even fitter, toned and healthier body than before I was pregnant! And it was with this personal achievement I decided to help others achieve their personal health and fitness goals so I setup my own Fitness business in 2011and have never looked back’

EXERCISE, fitness, healthy eating and a healthy, pain free life really is my passion and I’d love to share my knowledge, passion and experience with you.
